Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials and products.
- Load and unload trailers and containers efficiently and accurately.
- Transport inventory between different areas of the warehouse as directed.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents.
- Wear required PPE, such as safety vests and steel-toed boots.
- Maintain accurate records of movements and inventory levels.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Ensure the warehouse environment is kept clean and orderly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding tasks and potential hazards.
A valid forklift certification and a minimum of two years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting are required. The role involves significant physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
