Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with incoming and outgoing goods.
- Organize and stage inventory in designated areas.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on all equipment.
- Ensure all shipments are accurate and properly documented.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is essential.
- Forklift certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent heavy lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and logistics procedures.
- Excellent coordination and manual dexterity.
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
