We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic warehouse team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders. You will be responsible for accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and then carefully packing them for shipment. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to quality are essential for success in this position. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a handheld scanner or pick list.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring all items are accounted for.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and order tickets.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to perform manual tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse logistics .
- Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and the use of required PPE .
