We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Washington, D.C. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of our logistics hub, ensuring timely and accurate processing of goods. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving and storing inventory to picking, packing, and shipping orders. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain an organized and efficient workspace while adhering to all company policies and safety regulations. We are looking for individuals who are physically fit, possess strong attention to detail, and have a positive attitude. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy.
- Store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and organization.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on customer requirements and shipping schedules.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to housekeeping standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs, on a regular basis.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
