We have an exciting opportunity for a Picker/Packer in our Durham, North Carolina warehouse. This role is crucial for ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment, ensuring each package is accurate, secure, and meets our quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order forms.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Conduct quality checks on picked and packed items.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming inventory.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy metrics for picking and packing.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in picking, packing, or general warehouse work is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and moving packages up to 45 lbs.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good manual dexterity for packing items.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
