We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our busy distribution center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting products based on customer orders and preparing them for shipment. This position requires speed, accuracy, and a keen eye for detail. You will work with a variety of products, ensuring they are picked correctly and packed efficiently and safely. Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace are essential. This is a crucial part of our logistics process, directly impacting customer satisfaction. You'll be part of a team that values hard work and collaboration. Adherence to all safety standards, including the correct use of PPE, is a must. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products according to order lists using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack products securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Ensure that all orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- This position involves significant lifting of items up to 35 lbs.
- Contribute to team efforts and meet daily targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order lists and product codes.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Comfortable with frequent lifting and standing for long periods.
