We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing inventory control procedures to minimize losses and optimize stock rotation. You'll work closely with receiving, shipping, and operations departments to ensure smooth inventory management. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder points, reporting any shortages or overages.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
  • Work with shipping and receiving teams to ensure proper documentation.
  • Identify and report damaged or defective goods.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory management.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Must be able to perform frequent lifting of items up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Familiarity with WMS software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with material handling equipment is a plus.
