Join our logistics team as a Shipping Clerk in Omaha, Nebraska! We are seeking a reliable and organized individual to manage the final stage of our product flow. This position is critical for ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. You will be responsible for preparing shipments, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining detailed shipping records. Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and process outgoing shipments.
- Create shipping labels and complete all required documentation.
- Verify order details against shipped items.
- Schedule and coordinate with shipping carriers for timely pickups.
- Track shipments and provide status updates.
- Maintain organized shipping logs and files.
- Operate shipping station equipment efficiently.
- Ensure packages are correctly packed, labeled, and meet all shipping standards.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Tasks may involve occasional Lifting of packages.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in shipping, logistics, or a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and general computer skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic setting.
- Familiarity with Safety practices and the use of PPE.
- Capability to handle moderate Lifting tasks.
