Join our dynamic team in Austin, Texas, as a Picker/Packer! This role is fundamental to our e-commerce fulfillment operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently processed. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for retrieving specified items from warehouse shelves and packaging them securely for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products for customer orders using an RF scanner or order sheets.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against the order details.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with receiving, stocking, and other warehouse duties as needed to support logistics operations.
- Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical dexterity and stamina, including frequent Lifting of up to 30 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety guidelines.
