We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Des Moines, Iowa. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specifications.
- Stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, as trained.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding order status and inventory levels.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE.
