We are seeking a diligent Material Handler to join our operations in Durham, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our warehouse facility. Your primary duties will involve loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods using forklifts and pallet jacks, and organizing inventory in designated storage areas. You will play a vital part in ensuring that materials are available when and where they are needed, supporting production and fulfillment processes. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and material flow is essential. You must be able to operate various types of material handling equipment safely and competently. This position requires a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment, which is crucial for logistics efficiency and safety. Regular inspection of equipment for proper functioning is also part of your responsibilities. Adherence to all safety regulations and company policies is mandatory. This includes the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety shoes, and gloves. The ability to perform lifting of up to 60 lbs is a core requirement for this position.
