We are seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Provo, Utah. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our distribution network. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to Safety are essential. You will work in a fast-paced environment and contribute directly to ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. We prioritize a safe working environment and require strict adherence to all Safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and pick sheets.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are correctly packaged and labeled.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety.
- Properly use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals and support overall logistics operations.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or operational inefficiencies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Experience with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety standards and practices.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to adhere to all Safety requirements and wear necessary PPE.
