We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in San Diego, California. As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in the efficient movement and organization of goods within our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving, processing, and preparing materials for shipment. This role demands a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. You will work closely with the shipping and receiving departments to ensure inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. A strong commitment to safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds. Experience with pallet jacks and hand trucks is a plus. We are looking for individuals who are eager to contribute to a fast-paced logistics operation and grow within our company. Responsibilities include: Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, Loading and unloading trucks, Stocking and organizing inventory, Preparing orders for shipment, Maintaining a clean and organized work area, Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures, Performing routine equipment inspections, Communicating with supervisors and team members regarding inventory levels and order status.
