Chicago, Illinois, is calling for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist! If you have a keen eye for detail and a knack for organization, this is the role for you. You will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing strategies to minimize stock loss. This position plays a critical role in our overall logistics chain, ensuring that our inventory levels are precise and readily available for our operations. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure proper handling and storage of goods. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is essential. While this role is primarily focused on data and organization, there may be occasional requirements for lifting items up to 30 pounds. Familiarity with inventory management software and systems is highly desirable.
