Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate shipping labels and documentation for all outgoing orders.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and manage logistics.
- Verify the contents of outgoing shipments against order information.
- Ensure packages are correctly labeled, weighed, and dimensioned.
- Maintain organized shipping areas and records.
- Track shipments and provide updates as needed.
- Communicate with customer service and warehouse teams regarding shipping status.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other shipping and receiving duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or a related administrative role.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and standard office equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
