Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, inspect, and put away incoming stock.
- Pick items from shelves according to order specifications.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Prepare goods for outgoing shipment, including labeling and staging.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if needed).
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stocktaking activities.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is a plus.
- Physical stamina and the ability to handle frequent lifting of items up to 45 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail for order accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of safety best practices in a warehouse setting and the importance of PPE.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and operational improvements.
- Familiarity with logistics processes is advantageous.
Working Conditions:
This role is based in a busy warehouse environment. You will be required to perform physically demanding tasks, including regular lifting. Safety is our number one priority, and all associates must follow strict safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE. Your role is key to our logistics network.
