We are seeking a diligent and organized Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Receiving Clerk will be responsible for the accurate and efficient receipt of all incoming goods, ensuring they are properly documented, inspected, and stored. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our inventory and the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, verifying quantities and checking for any damages. Attention to detail is paramount as you'll be entering receiving data into our inventory management system. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively with other warehouse departments, including shipping and inventory control. Strong communication skills are essential to liaise with drivers and vendors regarding discrepancies or issues. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all incoming inventory is processed correctly and in a timely manner to support the ongoing logistics operations. We are committed to a safe working environment and expect all employees to adhere strictly to safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Tag and label inventory items as required.
- Communicate any discrepancies or issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, demonstrating a willingness to support overall logistics goals.
- Handle physical tasks including lifting boxes and moving pallets as necessary.
