We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic logistics team in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting warehouse equipment, ensuring operational efficiency, and contributing to the smooth flow of goods within our distribution center. This role is crucial for upholding the high standards of our logistics operations and ensuring the safety and productivity of our warehouse staff. The Warehouse Technician will perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on various warehouse machinery, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems. You will also be responsible for inventory management of spare parts and supplies, documenting all maintenance activities, and adhering to all safety protocols. A strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is essential, as is a commitment to workplace safety. Successful candidates will have a proven track record in a similar role and be comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, often under time constraints. The ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently is paramount. You will be expected to use various hand and power tools, and to follow technical diagrams and manuals. This role demands attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Adherence to all company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory.
