We are looking to bring on at least one farm intern this year. The role will be mostly on the farm - very hands-on - and includes duties like moving animals, collecting eggs, and assisting in maintenance. A smaller portion of the role gives candidates opportunities to work at the farmers markets, gaining customer-facing experience. By the end of the summer, interns will have gained deep experience in all aspects of running a small livestock farm.
While the role does not require previous farm experience, candidates must be comfortable doing strenuous work outside across the typical weather of northeastern Ohio. Hours are planned to be approximately 8 AM – 4 PM 5 days a week but may vary depending on work to be done (for example, rounding up chickens to take to processing occurs at night). Days of the week may vary as well.

Pay: $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
