Title - Azure Architect (DevOps) - High-level Duration: 2+ Years Location: Chicago, IL

Job Description: Designs and implements Azure DevOps pipelines, CI/CD processes, and infrastructure-as-code solutions to support secure and compliant cloud deployments; ensures alignment with federal security and governance requirements. Work with Illinois DoIT to configure Azure DevOps pipelines supporting Okta IAM and SailPoint IGA integration across environments.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 6+ years experience in DevOps and Azure cloud architecture; expertise in Azure DevOps, ARM/Bicep, Terraform, Git, and YAML; experience with FedRAMP/NIST 800-53 and HIPAA compliance.
Sample Tasks: • Design and manage Azure DevOps pipelines for OMI systems/Applications and Data Lake deployments. • Implement automated infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and YAML. • Monitor CI/CD jobs for compliance with FedRAMP security controls. • Support release management and rollback procedures for production deployments. • Provide technical documentation and DevOps training to OMI staff. • Work with Illinois DoIT to configure Azure DevOps pipelines supporting Okta IAM and SailPoint IGA integration across environments
