Finance Manager (m/f/x)

You will lead and modernize our finance function, ensure compliance with local and international requirements, and guide a reliable, collaborative team that supports our daily operations.

• Lead all core finance activities including accounting, treasury, costing, budgeting, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with Ugandan tax laws, international standards, and company policies
• Manage annual and interim audits and all statutory requirements
• Serve as the main finance contact for banks, auditors, insurers, and regulators
• Strengthen internal controls and organize responsibilities within the finance team
• Advise the Managing Director on financial matters and key performance indicators
• Support the effective use of Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Oversee Procurement and Stores to ensure proper stock control, compliance, and cost-efficient purchasing
• Maintain clear processes and guide the team toward reliable, cooperative performance

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA, CFA)
• Additional training in international finance/tax or ERP implementation is desirable
• A strong background in international finance, accounting, and tax practices, with the ability to quickly learn the specifics of Ugandan regulations
• Experience in modern finance management, team leadership, and digital transformation is essential
• Ability to adapt to local (African) business practices while bringing in global best practices
• Openness to and enjoyment of working within Ugandan cultural environments
• Very good command of the English language and verbal communication skills
