Responsibilities & Duties: Use of freight systems to complete documentation and operational processes.
Organise operational workflow to meet customer timeframes.
Communicate effectively with the customer to obtain relevant information and ensure their needs are met.
Ensure legislative compliance in all areas.
Maintain Customer profiles/SOPs Resolve customer issues and escalate where support is needed.
Liaise with sub-contractors to arrange the carriage of goods.
Raise payable invoices to customers and overseas agents in accordance with agreed rates and tariffs, whilst monitoring financial Profit & Loss levels on own shipments. xcfaprz
Complete all administrative functions in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Minimum Requirements: Minimum 3 years recent air freight forwarding operations experience within a busy air freight department Good knowledge and experience in the Air Freight market, including ability to negotiate with Airlines, local suppliers and overseas offices Ability to work under pressure using own initiative Prioritising key tasks, attention to detail Excellent problem-solving, planning and organisational skills Strong Communication/telephone skills Strong administrative and customer service skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Commercial awareness For a confidential discussion on this or any other current opportunity, please contact Garvan Cerasi IAC-Mar26 Skills: Communication Organisational Multi-tasking Benefits: 25 Days hols Pension Hybrid
