Now seeking a capable mechanical design engineer to join the team.
Key Projects Large-Scale Commercial Office Development (Dublin City Centre) Involvement in the detailed mechanical design of HVAC and ventilation systems for a multi-storey Grade A office building, including energy-efficient solutions aligned with NZEB standards and coordination within a BIM-led environment.
Acute Healthcare Facility Upgrade (Leinster Region) Supporting the retrofit and upgrade of critical mechanical systems (medical gases, ventilation, and heating systems) within a live hospital environment, ensuring compliance with strict healthcare regulations and minimal disruption to operations.
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility Expansion Assisting in the design and coordination of cleanroom HVAC systems, process cooling, and utility services for a high-spec manufacturing facility, with a strong focus on compliance, system reliability, and commissioning support.
Duties: Assist in the development of mechanical designs, drawings, and 3D models under guidance to meet project requirements and standards.
Collaborate with team members to support the integration of mechanical systems into project designs.
Perform basic calculations and support simulations to help optimize system performance and efficiency.
Contribute to the preparation and review of technical documentation to ensure alignment with codes and standards.
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and site inspections to learn and contribute to quality and safety outcomes.
Requirements: Hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
CAD proficiency is a significant advantage.
Must have2+ years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer with an Irish consultancy (local knowledge essential for the role).
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, and experience with Revit is a plus. xcfaprz
