We are seeking an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to lead operations at our Chicago facility. This individual will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing a small but critical team, and ensuring the efficient flow of technology products in and out of the facility.
This role will directly manage a team consisting of 1 Courier, 1 Production Associate, and 2 Repair Technicians. The Branch Manager will play a hands-on leadership role, balancing team supervision with operational responsibilities including inventory management, logistics coordination, and warehouse support.
We are currently in the process of establishing our Chicago facility, and this is a pre-opening leadership opportunity.
The selected candidate will play a key role in helping stand up operations, build team culture, and ensure readiness for a planned opening by the end of Q2 2026.
Requirements:Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Chicago facility, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
- Directly manage and support a team of couriers, production associates, and repair technicians.
- Coordinate all inbound and outbound logistics, including receiving, processing, staging, and shipping of devices and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory tracking and ensure proper documentation of all assets.
- Establish and enforce operational processes, workflows, and quality standards.
- Assist with warehouse operations including loading/unloading, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
- Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and support employee development.
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLA) and company performance expectations.
- Communicate regularly with corporate leadership, dispatch, and other departments to align on priorities and resolve issues.
- Identify and resolve operational challenges, delays, or inefficiencies proactively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies related to safety, security, and data handling.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees within the facility.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the Chicago branch.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience in operations, warehouse, logistics, or similar environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to lift or move heavy product(s) up to 50–75 lbs. using appropriate equipment.
- Experience with inventory systems, logistics coordination, and workflow management.
- Understanding of web-based applications and adaptability to software updates.
- Basic computer and networking knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of MS Windows operating systems, Google Suite, and/or Android OS.
- Ability to interact with clients and team members in a professional manner.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong communication skills and team leadership capability.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check.
- Valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) preferred.
- Flexibility to support varying schedules based on operational needs.
- Previous experience managing a warehouse, distribution center, or service facility.
- Experience in K–12 technology support or IT asset management.
- Familiarity with device repair workflows or production environments.
- Experience in startup or new facility launch environments.
