We''re looking for a motivated, quality-driven
**Commercial Cleaner**
to join our team at the Military Base in Kingston. In this role, you will ensure the over-all cleanliness of our facilities to the highest level.
**Day shifts are currently available.**
**Hourly Rate: $18/ hour**
**Your work will include:**
Cleaning and sanitizing of medical facilities, offices, classrooms, washrooms, conference rooms, hallways and fitness areas
Respond to emergency calls with the use of a communication radio or pager.
Report occurrences and deficiencies to management
Dusting, performed at floor level, and all furniture as required
Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches and doors, window sills
Cleans and polishes chrome and other polished metal surfaces
Cleans and disinfects washroom fixtures using mild chemicals
Damp mops small area hard surface floors
Attend all required health & safety training and use required PPE where indicated
Qualifications
**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
Commercial cleaning experience is not required, but is an asset
In order to work on the military base, a fingerprint security clearance is required
A clear criminal record check is required for this role
You must also have 2 pieces of government issued id, one of which has a photo
