As a junior member of the Financial Planning and Analysis team within the global Parts, Accessories, and Apparel (PAV) group, you will support management and operational units by contributing to financial analyses related to our global distribution and logistics activities.

You will work in a dynamic environment where you will have the opportunity to learn, develop your analytical skills, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our transport and distribution operations.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Develop your financial modelling skills.

  • Participate in the creation and enhancement of financial models to guide strategic decision-making in distribution, transport, and 3PL management.
  • Contribute to profitability analysis and the achievement of operational excellence.

Analyze financial and operational performance.

  • Support the team in analysing variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Participate in identifying trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.
  • Prepare analyses and recommendations for management.

Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Contribute to the creation and updating of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Explore historical and current data to support projections.

Participate in improving ETL processes.

  • Support the management of extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Work with datasets from various sources.
  • Contribute to populating a centralized data warehouse.

Develop dashboards and visualizations.

  • Use tools like Power BI to convert complex data into clear, interactive dashboards.
  • Facilitate understanding of trends and assist decision-makers in making informed decisions.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

Basic technical skills (or a willingness to learn).

  • 0 to 2 years of experience in data analysis, finance, or supply chain.
  • A university degree in finance, accounting, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge or interest in databases, Snowflake, SQL, or other query tools.
  • Basic knowledge of Python, R, or SQL (an asset).
  • Experience or interest in Power BI.
  • Familiarity with or a desire to learn ETL tools (Knime, Dataiku).
  • The ability to learn new systems (e.g. SAP, TM1, Ariba).

Desired personal skills.

  • Natural curiosity and a desire to learn quickly in a structured environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A sense of responsibility and initiative.
  • The ability to influence, even without a hierarchical role, by using logic and data.
