Technical Leadership Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for architectural discussions with clients and project teams.
Facilitate collaborative design sessions and address complex data flow challenges, including latency and reliability issues.
Promote a culture of continuous innovation and improvement within the team.
High Availability and Disaster Recovery Develop and implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies for key data services using Oracle GoldenGate and Data Guard.
Ensure minimal downtime while maintaining business continuity.
Monitoring and Observability Leverage monitoring tools to create real-time performance dashboards.
Set up alerts and logs to monitor performance metrics continuously.
Automation and Infrastructure Management Automate workflows for provisioning and scaling data services using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
Create efficient CI/CD pipelines to ensure repeatable and auditable infrastructure deployments.
Utilize scripting (Python, Node, shell) and APIs to automate routine processes and minimize errors.
Networking Proficiency Design and optimize networking elements such as VCNs, FastConnect, and VPNs in a multi-cloud environment.
Ensure secure and efficient data transfer between OCI, on-premise systems, and other cloud platforms.
Possess a solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing, DNS, HTTP, and SSL/TLS protocols.
Education and Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
Over 10 years of experience in cloud architecture, focusing on networking and data management.
Expertise in OCI, AWS, or Azure, particularly in managing data architectures and networking solutions.
Deep knowledge of data streaming technologies like Kafka and Oracle GoldenGate.
A proven history of creating highly available and fault-tolerant systems in the cloud.
Technical Skills Skilled in using cloud automation tools like Terraform and Ansible for deploying infrastructure.
Strong programming capabilities in Python, Shell scripting, or similar languages for custom tools.
Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting cloud networks and applications.
Solid understanding of cloud security principles, including access control and encryption.
Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, databases, and Oracle Fusion Middleware.
Adept in managing multi-cloud and hybrid architectures.
Software development experience in Java or Python with knowledge of SDLC and DevOps.
Strong understanding of virtualization, containerization, and microservices.
Experienced in SQL performance tuning and data management.
In-depth knowledge of RDBMS principles and previous DBA responsibilities.
