As a vital member of our department, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the security practices and systems we have in place. Your performance will be evaluated not just on your technical and operational capabilities but also on your commitment to providing exceptional service. Position Summary:
In this position, you will be responsible for implementing and managing security systems and tools, ensuring that our Firm's policies and procedures are adhered to. Your primary responsibilities will include: Reviewing, analyzing, and monitoring security system reports and logs for suspicious activities, trends, and patterns. Configuring, maintaining, and administering various security products and solutions within the Firm. Managing firewalls, VPNs, privileged access management (PAM), data loss prevention, EDR, and security information event monitoring (SIEM) systems. Responding to alerts, warnings, incidents, and help desk tickets as part of the Incident Response team under the guidance of the Cyber Security Manager. Participating in troubleshooting efforts for cyber security-related issues and managing relationships with specified security vendors. Engaging as a technician/engineer on Technology and Innovation projects. Conducting risk and security reviews on products as directed. Recommending controls to enhance protection and align with our overall information security strategy. Monitoring Technology security metrics, including logs from security systems, Windows servers, and network monitoring systems. Assisting with internal investigations requiring forensic analysis under the Cyber Security Manager's direction. Addressing audit findings as instructed by management. Evaluating and recommending commercial security vendors and products. Performing other duties as assigned. Skills and Experience: Required: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage, and other firm applications after orientation. Willingness to work extended hours or weekends when necessary. Ability to travel as required. A minimum of 5 years experience in information security with a proven track record of significant responsibility, judgement, and autonomy. Hands-on experience with a range of security technologies and solutions. Proficiency in: Active Directory Firewalls Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and management consoles Web filter and proxy technologies Encryption technologies Vulnerability scanners Data loss prevention Email gateways and anti-spam services Privileged account management systems Security information and event management (SIEM) systems AWS and Azure Cloud Services Participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Information Systems. CISSP or equivalent certifications and/or experience. Familiarity with the following products: Palo Alto Networks Firewalls and Prisma Access Tenable Vulnerability Scanner VMWare Cyberhaven Data Loss Prevention Proofpoint Email Gateway and Anti-Spam Forensic Tools S/MIME email encryption Delina Secret Server Crowdstrike Google SecOps SIEM Two-factor authentication technologies Penetration testing tools Patch management systems Competencies: Exceptional customer service skills. Professional demeanor in all circumstances. Cooley offers a competitive salary and a fantastic benefits package. We are committed to fair and equitable employment practices. We expect the annual compensation for this full-time position to range from $145,000 to $210,000, depending on your location, experience, and skills.
