Join Our Team as a Regional CI Manager!

Are you ready to make a significant impact in the world of Continuous Improvement? As the Regional CI Manager , you will play a pivotal role in deploying our Lean Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy, enhancing Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Safety (QCDS) across our operations.

In this dynamic position, you will collaborate closely with the Global Operations Leadership Team and cross-functional partners to identify and implement cost-effective solutions that drive our enterprise goals. Our mission? To manufacture mission-critical equipment and components that support cleaner energy solutions through our renowned brands, including Cook Compression, Waukesha Bearings, and more.

Note: This role requires weekly visits to our sites in Glasgow and Ellesmere Port, with potential travel of up to 30% both domestically and internationally.

What You’ll Bring:
  • A Bachelor’s or preferably Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business Administration.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt and/or Lean certification; additional certifications like SME/AME/ASQ/Shingo Prizes are a plus.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Lean Transformation within a high-performing manufacturing environment.
  • A proven track record in building a culture of Continuous Improvement.
  • Experience in leading Operational Excellence processes and learning & development programs.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
What You’ll Do: Strategy Deployment
  • Lead the execution of CI strategies and roadmaps at regional sites, focusing on transformation and process enhancements.
  • Act as the primary Lean champion, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate workshops and targeted improvement events to achieve strategic objectives swiftly.
  • Track key performance indicators to ensure improvements are sustained and develop countermeasures as needed.
Influential Leadership
  • Provide CI training and coaching to frontline leaders, building internal capabilities.
  • Teach problem-solving skills using effective tools and methodologies.
  • Lead GEMBA walks and mentor teams to implement a consistent Daily Lean Management System (DLMS).
Reporting and Data Analysis
  • Support data-driven decision-making by maintaining KPI dashboards and visual management systems.
  • Monitor operational performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate productivity and CI results to management and the Global Operations Leadership Team.
