Your RoleAs an SEN Class Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that align with the national curriculum while addressing the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
- Supporting the class team in creating enriching learning opportunities and fostering positive behaviors.
- Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, collaborating with other school staff to ensure every pupil's needs are met.
- Supervising pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
- Building strong relationships with your pupils to drive engagement and positive learning outcomes.
To thrive in this role, you should:
- Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
- Possess a strong educational background at degree level.
- Have previous successful teaching experience.
- Bring experience working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting.
- Be skilled in behavior management techniques.
- Be committed to your professional development and eager to learn.
- Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.
