Your Role: Materials & Logistics Team LeaderAs the Materials & Logistics Team Leader , you will play a pivotal role in coordinating our Goods Inward and Shipping Functions. Your mission? To ensure that all incoming materials and outgoing finished goods are processed accurately, safely, and on time. You will be the key point of contact for our customers, ensuring a smooth and effective service delivery.
What You Will Bring:- Expertise in International Shipping: Knowledge of shipping protocols, Incoterms, commodity codes, and tariff classifications.
- Documentation Management: Proven ability to handle complex import/export documentation and customs entries.
- Supervisory Experience: Skilled in managing the end-to-end "Goods In" process with a focus on accuracy and quality control.
- Team Leadership: Ability to prioritize workloads, manage team performance, and foster a positive culture.
- Safety Commitment: Dedication to maintaining a safe working environment through adherence to HSE policies.
- KPI Development: Experience in monitoring and analyzing Key Performance Indicators.
- Oversee the receipt, inspection, and booking-in of all incoming materials.
- Ensure deliveries match purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Collaborate with Purchasing and Quality to manage discrepancies and quality issues.
- Maintain accurate ERP/MRP transactions and control material flow.
- Manage transport logistics using air, road, or sea freight.
- Process all import/export documents and customs entries via Pacejet.
- Ensure compliance with Incoterms and customer requirements.
- Oversee packaging and labeling of all outward shipments in line with HSE standards.
- Maintain accurate stock records and lead cycle counts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies while ensuring FIFO standards.
- Participate in audits to ensure compliance with purchasing policies.
- Prioritize and allocate daily workloads across the team.
- Create a motivating team environment and set goals for team members.
