Trainee Lifeguard

About the Role

Are you ready to dive into an exciting opportunity? As a trainee lifeguard at our Splash Waterworld, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our guests have a fantastic and safe experience! Your primary focus will be on guest safety while providing exceptional customer service and engaging with visitors.

In this role, you’ll not only monitor the pool, rapids, and flumes, but also promote and run fun poolside activities, creating unforgettable memories for our guests.

If you already hold a lifeguard qualification, that’s fantastic! If not, don’t worry—we’ll support you through your NPLQ course, equipping you with all the training you need to kickstart your lifeguarding career.

This full-time position requires you to work 35 hours per week, with a variety of shifts available each day. Availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays is especially important. During busy weekend breaks, you may also assist our Bars department, giving you the chance to develop new skills and make new friends!

To join our team, you must be 18 or older. Our business operates seven days a week, so flexibility, reliability, and punctuality are essential. You’ll be a key part of our team, and live-in accommodation may be available for those relocating to the area.

We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals who naturally connect with a diverse range of people.

As a strong swimmer with a keen eye for detail, you’ll be able to monitor the pool effectively, especially during busy times. If you have a lifeguard qualification, we’d love to hear from you! If not, we’re happy to support you in obtaining your fully-funded NPLQ.

You’ll work alongside a fantastic team, but there will also be times when you’ll supervise areas independently, showcasing your leadership skills.
