À propos

Join Our Compassionate Community and Help Prioritize Health As the Senior Solutions Architect, you'll be a key player in a dynamic team responsible for CenterWell's dispensing pharmacy portfolio, which includes mail order, specialty, retail, and related platforms. Your role will be to define the architectural vision for complex, multi-system initiatives while bridging the gap between business strategy, engineering efforts, and enterprise standards. This is an active role that encourages engagement on multiple fronts. You will navigate through deep technical challenges and executive discussions, balancing innovative design with the modernization of existing systems and addressing both long-term objectives and immediate issues. In this role, you'll take charge of solution design for significant pharmacy initiatives, turning intricate operational needs into scalable, coherent architectures. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with engineering leads, product managers, clinical teams, and vendor partners to ensure that technical decisions are valid, justifiable, and in alignment with strategic goals. You will represent the architecture discipline in governance forums and executive meetings. Utilize Your Expertise to Drive Impact You will thrive in this position if you have a strong foundation in software engineering—having written code and understanding the implications of architectural choices. Over time, you have evolved into a systems thinker, recognizing component interactions, complexity areas, and designing for future adaptiveness rather than just immediate needs. We focus on what you can demonstrate rather than simply counting years of experience. We appreciate the depth of problems you've solved and the quality of thought you applied. You should be comfortable navigating complex enterprise environments, knowing how to identify key stakeholders and build alliances that effectively advance technical decisions. While you are decisive, you also understand when further analysis is needed. We seek candidates with demonstrated experience in: solution or enterprise architecture for large, complex programs; the healthcare sector or highly regulated industries, with particular advantage if you have experience in pharmacy, PBM, or clinical systems; integration patterns, cloud-native architecture, data architecture, and application modernization; effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and translating business strategies for engineers; and collaborating closely with consulting partners and senior business decision-makers. Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards like HL7, FHIR, and NCPDP is beneficial, although the ability to quickly learn about complex domains and make sound architectural decisions is more critical. Required Qualifications Experience in the Pharmacy sector (PBM, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Dispensing Pharmacy)
Proficiency in cloud-native design and application modernization
Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR, NCPDP)
Experience leading a technical team
Preferred Qualifications Experience on a solution or enterprise architecture team
Experience designing a large-scale event-driven ecosystem
Azure or GCP certification
