JOB OVERVIEW
The QA Engineer (Audit) is responsible for establishing and maintaining a system for the surveillance of the performance and effectiveness of all the programs covering the maintenance, preventive maintenance, and alterations for articles inducted into the repair station. This role will also ensure the correction of any deficiency in those programs, regardless of whether those programs are carried out by the certificate holder or by another person. This role is responsible for establishing an efficient quality system throughout the organization and creating a culture and team dynamic that allows our operations teams to accomplish their vision while upholding quality and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment for our employees and contractors.
Responsibilities:
Accomplish internal and external audits as required by QuickTurn Engine Center's Audits Program to ensure compliance. Planning, preparation, and conduct of compliance audits, inspections, and surveillance activities both internal and external, as well as the follow-up, and verification of compliance to audit findings for continual improvement purposes. Generate detailed audit reports identifying deficient areas and documenting objective evidence of the discrepancy. Report progress and status of issues from previous meetings and recommend changes to the maintenance programs a result of analysis of component and systems trends identified. Maintain and update QuickTurn Engine Center's Approved Vendors List. Responsible to drive supplier performance management objectives with key stakeholders to generate new ideas and provide solutions. Assist on tasks as assigned to help achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years related experience in Process Auditing. Strong background in CFRs pertaining toCRS operations. Strong background in ISO9001, AS9100, and AS9110 quality management systems. Sound organizational skills with above-average attention to detail. Knowledge of professional practices and sources of information including technical rules and regulations. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S Must be fluent in English (written and verbal) Preferred:
Strong computer skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook- and ability to learn other software programs. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Skilled in effectively presenting information and responding to questions from management, customers, and regulatory agencies. Proven good presentation skills Ability to manage & prioritize multiple projects
