A leading engineering contractor is looking for a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join their Dublin team. This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer who enjoys leading packages, driving quality, and delivering complex electrical engineering solutions on major projects.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading full design reviews of drawings, specifications and schedules
- Ensuring installations meet project specifications, QA plans and benchmark standards
- Developing engineering alternatives and detailed calculations for client approval
- Managing IFC/design reviews, scope management and RFIs
- Working with tools such as Dialux/Relux, Amtech Pro Design, Navisworks, BIM 360 and Procore
- Managing technical submittals and coordinated construction drawings
- Leading supplier package reviews for technical compliance
- Coordinating procurement schedules with internal teams
- Supporting BCAR inspections and LEED/BREEAM compliance where required
What we’re looking for
- Degree in Electrical / Building Services Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in electrical project delivery
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical building services projects
- Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Navisworks and MS Office
- Excellent communication, coordination and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Irish electrical standards, fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
