Are you a passionate educator ready to make a difference? We are looking for a SEN Class Teacher to join our dedicated team at Sutherland Hall School in Tamworth, Staffs. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to inspire and empower students aged 5 to 18 with complex needs in a nurturing environment.

Your RoleAs a SEN Class Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, tailored to meet the complex SEMH needs of our pupils.
- Support the class team in facilitating engaging learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
- Monitor and report on pupils' progress, collaborating with other staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
- Supervise pupils during non-classroom times, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
- Build positive relationships with your pupils to drive interaction and foster positive learning outcomes.
To thrive in this role, you should:
- Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
- Possess a strong educational background at degree level.
- Have previous successful teaching experience, particularly with pupils with SEMH needs.
- Be familiar with behavior management techniques.
- Be committed to your professional development and eager to learn.
- Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.

Salary: £28,000 - £39,520
Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Location: Tamworth, Staffs
