Supervising Social Worker

Base Location: Coventry

Hours: 28 hours per week (4 days)

Salary: Up to £34,507 FTE (£43,134.00)

As a Supervising Social Worker , you will play a vital role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high-quality placements. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct support to foster parents within a manageable caseload.
• Conducting regular supervision to monitor practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to ensure full participation in safeguarding and child protection processes.

We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is:

• Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents.
• Experienced in working collaboratively with foster parents and multi-disciplinary teams.
• A confident driver with unrestricted access to your own car.
• Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.

• Hold a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
• Previous experience in children and families social work.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services.
• Good IT skills and flexibility in working patterns and travel.

Your office will be located in Long Eaton, with a standard caseload covering the Midlands and South Yorkshire. Most locations will be within an hour's drive, but flexibility may be required for team collaboration.
