About the Role

As a Residential Support Worker , you will play a vital role in our team, delivering flexible and individualized care to our residents in Poole. You will be trained in Developmental Trauma and therapeutic parenting, equipping you with the skills to provide the best support possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to promote the welfare of our young people.
  • Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships with residents.
  • Encourage the development of individual interests and skills.
  • Safeguard and protect the well-being of all young people in your care.
  • Be flexible and available for 7 x 24-hour shifts, including sleep-ins.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience working with children and young people, with an understanding of the challenges they face.
  • A willingness to work towards a Level 4 diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car for travel purposes.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • A positive attitude and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (cost covered by us).
  • Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder or Youth Work is a plus!
Working Conditions

This is a full-time, permanent position with a shift pattern on rotation. Your commitment will help us provide a safe and supportive environment for our young people.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary starting at £24,604.58 (unqualified) or £27,107.08 (qualified), with potential earnings up to £32,348.58 or £34,851.08 respectively, including sleep-in shifts.
  • A sleep-in allowance of £64 per night .
  • Up to 6 weeks of holiday per year.
