POSITION OVERVIEW: The Associate IT Applications Analyst will provide application and project support while leveraging new and existing technologies to fulfill business needs. This role collaborates with IT and business teams to identify requirements, support production systems, and drive project execution. You will participate in cross-functional meetings to address issues, recommend best practices to enhance processes, assess requirements, and prepare implementation and transition plans. Additionally, this position works closely with IT Finance to ensure effective budgeting, planning, and forecasting. The base salary for this role ranges between $68,640 and $109,200, depending on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, education, certifications, seniority, and location. The stated range is just one aspect of our overall compensation package, which also includes diverse rewards based on position and location. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Engage in projects throughout the systems development lifecycle including: Coordinate internal and external team efforts in supporting existing systems and executing assigned projects. Collaborate with various teams in IT and the business for timely and effective delivery or issue resolution. Manage meetings, issue resolution, and escalations during projects. Create status reports and lead status meetings. Document processes and project requirements. Prepare budget estimates and forecasts as necessary for assigned projects. Oversee order processing, shipment tracking, and equipment receipt as required by assignments. Monitor invoices and manage payment processing as needed for projects. New Store Opening Support: Maintain financial documentation for IT New Store Openings, including monthly cash flow and forecasts. Assist in planning annual and 5-Year budgets for New Store openings by understanding business drivers and working closely with IT Finance to accurately predict costs. Contribute to the development and design of new business processes and update existing processes within the IT New Stores portfolio. Participate in cross-functional initiatives and process improvement projects within the IT New Stores portfolio. Help automate IT New Store processes. Ensure New Store Openings are completed on time and within budget. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Strong analytical skills—capable of synthesizing data and conducting thorough analyses. Team-oriented but also able to work independently. Driven to learn and enhance one’s skill set. Ability to build relationships across various internal contacts and communicate effectively with peers to senior leaders and vendors. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including vlookups and pivot tables), Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Retail IT Store systems infrastructure. Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with exceptional listening skills. Ability to articulate issues, foster consensus around recommendations, and define next steps. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ADA: This position involves working in an office environment, primarily on a computer, with responsibilities including sitting, standing, walking, and attending meetings. The role requires consistent timely attendance and the ability to see information in print and electronically. The role necessitates a regular in-office presence to engage in team collaboration, client support, and mentoring; however, duties can also be performed effectively through a combination of in-office and remote work.
