Your attendance will be expected and fully supported. About Our Team: The Asset Data Platform team is responsible for managing all blockchain data at Coinbase. This crucial platform supports our business operations. We develop systems to ingest and provide real-time asset and blockchain data to our customers, enabling every trade, chart, wallet balance, and DeFi position at Coinbase. Our team collects, normalizes, and delivers asset metadata, real-time pricing, and historical data at scale, powering key services such as Coinbase Exchange, Wallet, and DEX. What You Will Achieve: Design and implement innovative crypto data systems that drive Coinbase's operations.
Collaborate with stakeholders from diverse organizations involved in product development or financial operations at Coinbase.
Contribute to shaping the strategy and execution roadmap for the Asset Data team.
Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using your technical expertise.
Mentor and train team members on design principles and coding standards.
Produce high-quality, thoroughly tested code that meets customer needs.
What We Are Looking For: 10+ years of backend software engineering experience, particularly with Golang or similar languages.
Experience architecting and developing solutions to ambiguous and impactful challenges.
Strong foundation in building distributed systems capable of supporting massive scale.
Proven ability to lead complex initiatives across organizations and ensure architectural coherence.
Excellent communication skills, able to engage stakeholders from various technical backgrounds.
Strong commitment to setting and achieving ambitious goals.
A passion for creating a global open financial system.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cryptocurrencies.
A background in both startups and large enterprises.

Depending on your work location, the target annual base salary for this position ranges from $253,895 to $298,700 USD. Total compensation may also include equity, bonuses, and benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)). Each candidate may submit a maximum of four applications within any 30-day period.
