Inbound Associate
The Inbound Associate position is responsible for counting, put-away, replenishing and rotating stock in the warehouse on a daily basis. Hours: Day Shift Hours
Monday-Friday - 8:30am-5:30pm with 1-hour unpaid lunch. Occasional Saturdays to work overtime as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Count and sort merchandise by location, product number and description. Store merchandise on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, color or type of material. Maintain set amount in bulk and primary locations based on shelf capacity and pick velocity. Determine methods of storage and stock location, considering height and weight limits, turnover (pick velocity), floor loading capacities and required. Move and transport materials or supplies. Perform related duties as required by supervisor. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Previous Warehouse experience is preferred. Ability to work 8 to 10 hours a day standing up and constantly be moving. Ability to work in a warehouse with fluctuating temperatures, especially warmer seasons. Maintains high level of accuracy in all aspects of job functions. Must have a strong attention to detail. Ensures strong sense of personal and professional ethics and character. Team player with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization; executives; staff; clients; outside agencies; organizations and individuals. Must be able follow basic verbal and written instructions. Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization. Perform basic visual quality inspections on products. Maintain the production pace of other team members. Forklift certified a plus. Must be able to meet all required deadlines; ability to change priorities quickly as needed; ability to independently handle stress and maintain a mature problem-solving demeanor. Required to operate machinery following all safety rules and regulations. Knowledge of inventory and quality control. Must be able to bend, stoop, and twist repetitively. Must be able to work independently without close supervision. Must be able to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers quickly and accurately. Must be able to read and understand labels written in English. Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to go up and down a ladder. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate. Individual will be exposed to varying temperature climates. Summary
