What you will be doing: Develop new services to fulfill key business and product requirements using Golang.
Create scalable systems to tackle innovative challenges through modern cloud technologies and industry best practices.
Define a long-term strategy for the maintenance and expansion of our backend systems.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to transform our product and technical vision into a measurable quarterly roadmap.
Produce high-quality, thoroughly tested code that addresses customer needs.
What we look for in you: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering.
Proven experience in designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production services with knowledge of service-oriented architecture.
Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code focused on customer satisfaction.
A passion for building an open financial system that connects people across the globe.
Additional qualifications that are a plus: Experience in a company experiencing rapid growth (from startup to mid-size).
Familiarity with growth experiments or A/B testing methodologies.
Experience with Blockchain technology (such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc).
Knowledge of decomposing large monoliths into microservices.
Experience with technologies such as Golang, Ruby, Docker, Rails, Postgres, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
Experience developing financial systems with high reliability or security standards.
Crypto-centric experience, including working with onchain activities like Ethereum and dApps.

*Base salary for this position typically ranges from $186,065 to $218,900 USD annually, excluding equity and bonus opportunities.
