are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic
Secondary Design and Technology Teacher
to join a well-regarded
secondary school in Widnes, Halton
from
after the Easter break until July 2026 .
This is an excellent opportunity for a
qualified DT Teacher, Early Career Teacher (ECT), or experienced secondary teacher
to teach
Design & Technology across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in a supportive and well-established department.
This 11-16 secondary school in Widnes

You will be responsible for delivering engaging
Design and Technology lessons
, encouraging creativity and technical skills while supporting students to achieve their full potential.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful
Design and Technology Teacher
will have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching
Design & Technology at KS3 and KS4 Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
The ability to deliver engaging
practical and theory-based DT lessons
A passion for developing students'
creative, engineering and design skills
This role would suit both
experienced Design and Technology teachers
and
ECTs
seeking valuable classroom experience in a supportive secondary school environment.
