This role is ideal for a *hands-on, detail-oriented QA professional* who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys problem-solving, and can work independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Participate in the full *software development lifecycle (SDLC)* with a focus on QA
* Design, develop, and execute *test plans, test cases, and test methodologies*
* Perform *manual and/or automated testing* of applications and systems
* Troubleshoot, isolate, and reproduce defects; validate fixes
* Maintain and configure *test environments*
* Document test results and manage *defect tracking systems*
* Collaborate with engineering, product, and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery
* Provide *QA status reporting and escalation support*
* Create and maintain *technical documentation*
*Required Qualifications*
* 3+ years experience in *Quality Assurance / Test Engineering*
* Experience testing *both software and hardware systems*
* Strong experience with:
* *.NET applications*
* *Microsoft IIS*
* *Microsoft SQL Server* (queries, scripts, database restores)
* Understanding of *networking fundamentals* (ports, protocols, firewalls)
* Experience with:
* Test plans, test execution, and defect tracking tools
* Configuration management processes
* Experience working in *Windows desktop and server environments*
* Proficiency with *Microsoft 365 tools*
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Experience with *test automation tools*
* Background in *data centers, telecommunications, or cybersecurity*
* Familiarity with *enterprise environments*

*Education*
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred, not required)
*Additional Requirements*
* U.S. Citizenship required
* Must be able to pass a background check
* Ability to work onsite in Elizabethtown, KY up to 50%
Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
