Multi-skilled individual with primary responsibility to maintain equipment in a proactive safe manner; identify, troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical abnormalities on all factory equipment. Perform all preventative maintenance as scheduled to drive down performance losses and increase equipment reliability. Build operator technical skills and capability.

• Maintain Factory Equipment: Identify defects, execute preventative and predictive maintenance plan; work in various areas of the plant including process areas, primary and secondary packaging equipment, material handling and storage equipment; maintain power distribution system (up to 480 volts); control systems including basic PLC I/O hardware troubleshooting, motor, sensor, drives and basic electrical circuits, basic understanding of device communication networks; mechanical system including hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical drive systems; troubleshooting and problem solving skills to maintain, optimize and improve production equipment; review maintenance plans and optimize to drive reliability of equipment; use, validate, and redline engineering drawings; understand factory’s key processes.
• Build capability: Coach operator skills for adjustments and changeovers; transfer of operational tasks such as lubrication and inspection; build technical procedures; train other technical resources.
• CMMS system (SAP-AMM): Access and utilize AMM to accurately document all maintenance activities; identify and create work orders; perform time entry and technical feedback; improve maintenance plans; provide feedback to maintenance planner; review required spare parts.

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• 2 Years of Equivalent Work Experience AND/OR Two-year Technical Degree in Maintenance related area such as Maintenance Technical/Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, Electronics technology required.

• Mechanical Skills: Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Mechanical drive systems, Utility Systems.
• Electrical Skills: Knowledge and ability to interpret National Electrical Code, Power Systems and Distribution (up to 480V), Control Systems (Basic PLC/hardwire logic circuits, Motor Control Circuits, Safety Circuits), Instrumentation and Field Devices.
• Other Skills: Familiar with CMMS and Production Workflow/Control systems, read and interpret machine, electrical and facility drawings, operate, troubleshoot, and diagnose industrial systems, obtain and maintain certifications required by Nestle policies.
• Other Technical Skills: Welding, fabrication and machining skills.

• Communication skills: Able to communicate verbally with leaders and co-workers to accomplish tasks in an open and honest manner. Ability to give and receive feedback, ask questions and challenge respectfully.
• Critical Thinking Skills: Able to reason, solve problems, analyze graphs, interpret data, troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Willingness to support an open positive Nestle culture and follow established values.
• Accountable for personal development and improvement.
• Employee must come to work promptly and regularly, work independently with minimal supervision at times under stressful conditions, work within deadlines, be able to work professionally with others at all times and in all situations.

• Follow safety and environmental objectives and targets, follow the plant safety rules, report incidents and unsafe conditions immediately, maintain compliance with regulations.
• Capability to follow work standards and full adherence to all safety permitting and facility LOTO requirements while executing tasks.
• Ability to demonstrate safe practices and tools while working with low voltage and medium voltage electrical systems and components.
