Ireland (Remote-first)
I'm working with an exciting start-up in Ireland who is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise in Python and React to build intuitive, high-impact software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of full-stack applications, with a strong emphasis on React-based frontends and Python backends.
- Build high-performance, intuitive UIs for complex analytical and investigative workflows.
- Set and influence architecture, technical standards, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product, design, and domain experts across security and investigative contexts.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding engineers across multiple projects.
Essential Experience:
- Strong professional experience with Python and Fast API on the back end.
- React and TypeScript on the front end.
- Proven ability to design and deliver scalable, production-grade full-stack systems.
- A passion for creating clear, usable interfaces in complex problem domains.
- Experience operating at a principal or lead level, balancing hands-on development with strategic technical direction.
- An interest in building impactful systems within security, defence, or investigative environments.
- Ability to operate in a start-up/scale-up environment and own/build the end-to-end system of a set of features. xcfaprz
