About UsAt ISP School, we specialize in providing education for 7-18-year-olds facing social, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH), as well as communication and interaction needs. Our mission is to create a safe and supportive environment that fosters self-discipline, engagement, and a love for learning.
Your RoleAs a full-time teacher, you will:
- Teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, inspiring them to reach their full potential.
- Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of your students.
- Utilize our positive behaviour policy to help students become responsible citizens.
- Motivate children to access learning and develop a passion for education.
To thrive in this role, you should:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have successful teaching experience, particularly with vulnerable children.
- Possess SEN experience, focusing on nurturing children with SEMH and ASC needs.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the National Curriculum, especially in Science and Media, including Esports.
- Exhibit excellent behaviour management skills and a reflective approach to teaching.
- Be adaptable, with the ability to tailor your teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Show a proven ability to deliver dynamic and engaging lessons.
This is a full-time, term-time only position with hours from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The salary ranges from £28,000 to £39,590, depending on experience.
