As an SEN Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our pupils. Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, while addressing the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
• Supporting the class team in creating enriching learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
• Monitoring and reporting on pupils' progress, collaborating with other staff to ensure every pupil's needs are met.
• Supervising pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
• Building strong relationships with your pupils to drive interaction and positive learning outcomes.

To thrive in this role, you should:

• Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
• Possess a strong educational background, ideally to degree level.
• Have previous successful teaching experience.
• Bring experience working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting.
• Be skilled in behavior management techniques.
• Be committed to your professional development and eager to learn.
• Be willing to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check prior to starting work.

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, the cost of which will be covered by Polaris Education.
