Your Role

As a Residential Support Worker, you will:

  • Provide flexible and individualized care packages for our children and young adults.
  • Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships with our young residents.
  • Promote, safeguard, and protect the welfare of our young people.
  • Encourage the development of individual interests and skills.
  • Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Experience working with children and young people, along with an understanding of the challenges they face.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern, including 24-hour shifts with sleep-ins.
  • A willingness to learn and grow, with excellent communication and listening skills.
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car for travel purposes.
  • A relevant qualification (e.g., Residential Childcare Diploma, NVQ Level 3) or a commitment to work towards one.
  • Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder or Youth Work is a plus!
Working Conditions

This is a full-time, permanent position with a shift pattern on rotation. Your dedication will be rewarded with:

  • A competitive salary starting at £24,604.58 (unqualified) or £27,107.08 (qualified), with potential earnings up to £32,348.58 or £34,851.08 respectively, including sleep-in shifts.
  • A sleep-in allowance of £64 per night .
  • Up to 6 weeks of holiday per year.
  • All meals provided during your shifts.
