Consumer Banking relies on data to drive customer acquisition, retention, and relationship growth. As a Data Analyst, you will transform complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence strategy, improve customer outcomes, and support business growth. You'll join a collaborative, high performing analytics team with deep Consumer Banking expertise. This role is ideal for an analyst who thrives in a fast moving environment, enjoys solving ambiguous problems, and can translate data into decisions leaders act on. Key Responsibilities Deliver insights that support acquisition, retention, and product deepening across Consumer Banking Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and risks Source, integrate, and validate data from multiple enterprise systems Design dashboards, visualizations, and ad hoc analyses that clearly communicate findings Translate analysis into concise, business focused recommendations Partner with stakeholders and data teams to provide a holistic view of performance Monitor results of implemented recommendations and refine analysis over time Ensure all data usage complies with risk, privacy, and data governance standards Technology & Analytics Environment You'll work within a modern analytics ecosystem designed to support both advanced analysis and business storytelling. Tools may vary by initiative and typically include: SQL based environments for querying large datasets Python or R for statistical analysis and modeling Enterprise data platforms and cloud based analytics environments BI and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) for analysis, communication, and stakeholder engagement Close collaboration with data engineering, governance, and risk partners Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience Four to five years of statistical and/or data analytics experience Preferred Skills / Experience Experience applying advanced analytics, statistics, or predictive modeling to business problems Strong capability working with large, complex datasets, including data extraction and validation Proficiency with SQL; experience with Python or R preferred Experience building dashboards and visualizations that drive business action Ability to translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations Experience partnering with business stakeholders to define questions and influence decisions Ability to manage multiple analytical initiatives in a dynamic environment Familiarity with data governance, risk, and privacy standards, especially with customer data Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to business partners The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
